By car:

Coming from A3 (highway), turn at Braga Sul (Celeirós) and take the circular of Braga on the East side.

From Braga, there are three options to get to Gerês:

1. Exit towards Chaves taking EN 103 to km 68.5 and then to take the EN 304
2. Exit towards North, taking EN 101 until Cávado River (km 83.5), followed by Amares by EN 205
3. Exit towards North, taking EN 101 until Cávado River(83.5 km), following EN 205 to km 47.7 and then towards Terras de Bouro by EN 205-3

Coming from Spain, you can enter by the border Portela do Homem.

By public transportation:

You can travel by train and bus to Braga. From Braga, there are buses from the Empresa Hoteleira do Gerês and Transdev.
